understanding the “i am”…that is you…

“Saint Germain (cont.):  I say to you though, Dear Ones – I know I have said it before, but still some do not comprehend. Dear Ones, even if it is only five minutes, start in and make definite Application morning and evening, no matter what the pull of the outer things are.

Now if you will do that, then the conditions will be so much easier. It is up to you to determine what you are going to do with the time before you, but this is the thing: if you will give your morning and evening Application – it only takes ten or fifteen minutes – then you will establish conditions about you for the things that arise, for the energy, the Directing Intelligence for the day; and things will just move with so much greater speed that you will find you have an hour or two hours more.

Don’t think I am saying this unkindly, for you know I would not; but if you were to see sometimes how the mind sort of wanders and is not quick and alert, you would be astonished. If you will watch yourself, you will notice every time, that follows some little feeling of irritation or discord, or a sort of confusion comes into the mind that does not let it act as quickly and alertly.

Here is the thing I am going to suggest to you tonight, which I have not before. A half hour before you go to make your Application – probably would you not have that much time in the morning; but in the evening, a half hour before your Application, say: “‘Beloved Mighty I AM Presence’, give me the Ascended Master Contemplation!”

Then as you enter into your Application for whatever it is, you will find a firmness and alertness and a quickness, in the feeling that you release, which will be surprising.

Everyone watch this, and see when you go to do your work, watch your Application, and see whether you feel it is not kind of “blah”. If you do, don’t make one Application until you release that out of your being. Get yourself into that enthusiasm, and then let loose, because it does so much more. You do as much in five minutes as you cannot do in fifteen minutes if that “blah” feeling is there.”

Beloved Saint Germain
