I Pray All Is Well…And Life Is Love N Happiness…Filled With Joy And Compassion…For Each And Every One Of Ya’s… Amen…

 
Here’s An Interesting Little Piece About My Life Which Was Brought To My Attention This Evening, That I Will Share; And I Don’t Do THAT Often.

 
Soooo…My Mom Moved My Sister And I From NC To DC When I Was Four Years Old. But That Move Was Necessary, In Ways She Could Have Never Known. And At That Point, All Of The Love I Had Ever Known Had Come From My Family Members In NC…My Elders, I Call Them. They Must Have Showed Me Some Real Love And Prayed Incessantly For Me, Cuz When We Got To DC, I Was Homesick For That Love; And There Seemed To Be No Sincere Love For Us In Our New Hometown. Now, Even Tho I Was Four Years Old, I Knew The Absence Of Love. So, I Told My Momma That I Was Going Back Home. I Told Her That I Was Gonna Make Me “Twelve Butter Breads”, And Run Away Back To NC. Now…Butter Bread To Me Was Buttery Biscuits…I Loved Homemade Biscuits, With Butter; I Used To Eat Them Cold, I Loved Them So Much…And Wouldn’t Go To Sleep Till I Was Promised One…For The Next Morning. But You Can’t Get Me To Eat One Too Quickly Now, Tho. However, That Idea Of Going Back Stayed In My Mind And Heart, At That Time.

 
And Now, I Laugh When I Think About Dem “Butter Breads”.

 

However, It Just Goes To Show That No Matter Our Age, We Can Still Feel And Know Love And Sincerity…If It Is Genuine. And I Never Did Feel That Same Love When We Left NC All Of Those Years Ago; But That Love That I Received From My Elders When I Was Very Young, Is Still With Me Today…And I Still Feel It; Even After All That I Have Endured In Life…It Is Still There! It Was Obviously Love That Taught Me…And Showed Me How To Love Myself And Others; And It Had To Be Sincere…Cuz That Love, That Foundation Of Love…Is Still With Me…And It Will Never Leave Me! And For That, I AM Grateful, Eternally Grateful!

 
So…Y’all Love Up On The Youngsters…GodStyle! Amen…

 
And Ima Big Up My Ancestors, For The Love And Direction Given… That I Had Forgotten Along The Way; But Yet, Stayed In My Heart…To Be Brought Back To The Forefront Of My Awareness And Remembrance…Someday; Today…This Day…And Everyday…Praise God!

And…You (we) will be his witness to all people of what you (we) have seen and heard.” (Acts 22:14-15); Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. (Deuteronomy 4:9); And…Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deuteronomy 11:18-20); Cuz…from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
