Tips For Connecting With Your “I AM Presence”
(week 2)
Day 1: The Awakening
"Awaken to the Stillness of God that is within everyone. That quiet, yet Powerful Intelligent Stillness... that keeps us living. When a negative feeling is registered in our atmosphere, it is anchored there until we awaken the Power of God within us to dissolve or consume it.
Reflection: We must awaken to the fact that life is more than what we can see with our physical eyes. We have to learn to discern our feelings when dealing with the circumstances of life. Feelings generate energy, be it good or bad; and we must break the habit of generating the cause of negativity in our world. This is a matter of stilling the outer, emotions and all, so that the Truth may prevail. Awakening is not something we chase; it’s what’s left when we let go of illusions. “Be still, and know that “I AM” God.” Stillness is our natural state; and in that stillness... is clarity and awakening.
Practice: Take a few moments throughout the day to still yourselves – your busyness and racing thoughts and imagine yourselves awakening to this newfound understanding and power of controlling your inner world. See the Light of God within you EXPAND AND EXPAND AND EXPAND; and feel the sincere wonder and joy, as a little boy or girl would - the excitement, the happiness and innocence of connecting with the Light of all Creation! Do you see the Light's Expansion within you? This works best outside in nature, outside the confines of walls, in open space. However, being inside works well also, but the mind tends to take on the surroundings; and we want the mind, the consciousness in Its stillness, focused on the Light of God. Take 3 conscious breaths. On each exhale, whisper inwardly: “'I AM' the only Real Presence and Activity anywhere.” Do this as often as possible. And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
Day 2: The Calm
In the rhythm of your breath, there is a sacred pause – a doorway into peace. Listen for it.
Reflection: The space between the inhale and exhale is the calm beneath all movement. This is probably why we are told to slow down and breathe deeply when we are in meditation, upset, or anxious. It is calming, because every breath we breathe... is God in Action!
Practice: Notice the brief pause after each breath. Rest there, even for a moment, and repeat in your mind, “'I AM' the Eternal, Harmonizing Presence and Activity everywhere I move and to everything to which my thought is directed." Contemplate as often as possible your “Mighty I AM Presence” as the Calming, yet Active Presence of God in you. And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
Day 3: The Observer
Life is full of emotions, thoughts, actions, and reactions. Practice becoming the witness of your world – the one who sees without being swept away.
Reflection: It is only by a lack of acknowledgment and acceptance of the Full Power of our “Mighty I AM Presence” that we allow human concepts and creations to disturb us. The stillness within is the quiet observer of all that passes.
Practice: Constantly look within the human self and see what habits or creations are there that need to eliminated. In refusing to allow habits of judging, condemning, and criticizing to exist, can we be free. The idea is to perfect our own world; and we cannot do it as long as we see imperfection in the world of another. When a negative emotion arises, silently say, with the Authority of God in you: “I see you, but you have no power!” Then return to your inner stillness. And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
Day 4: The Silence Speaks
Silence is often misunderstood as emptiness, but it is alive with the “Presence of God”. Lean into that quiet, Intelligent Power!
Reflection: Dare to be silent. In silence, the mind rests, and wisdom begins to whisper. Meditation means feeling the Active Presence of God. So in silence, when we rest our mind, we cannot drag all the chaos and discord that may have bothered us throughout the day. We must consciously eliminate from our feeling and attention the negativity, and enter into the “Presence of God” - not replaying our troubles over and over again.
Practice: Give time, morning and evening, to silence and sincere meditation. Still the outer activity so that the Inner may come forth unhindered. Spend 5 minutes in silence – it can be longer – no phone, no distractions, just you and your “Presence”. Afterwards, observe the way you feel about your connection with the Spirit Energy. And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
Day 5: The Center
No matter what the world brings, you have a calm center within you. Today is about remembering to return to it.
Reflection: “The Great Central Sun is the Heart Center of the Infinite... and the “I AM” is the All-Balance, because It is the Power and Governing Intelligence of all Perfection.” In the Pure State, whether in the Infinite or finite, when there is no imperfection, the brain and heart activity become One; for the motive power of all activity sent forth is Love from the Heart; and the heart is a sanctuary of stillness that cannot be shaken.
Practice: Take the attitude of calm balance. Always be happy and rejoice in the “Presence”; and remember, there is always a balance to be maintained – it is the Middle Way. Hold yourself within this Center Balance. And know that calmness in all things is the path to self-control and absolute mastery. Maintaining a calm disposition under pressure takes much practice... but it is much easier when we have a faithful connection to our "Mighty I AM Presence".
Place your hand on your heart and say softly: “'I AM' the balancing breath. 'I AM' the Perfect Balance which controls everything.” Breathe there for a few moments. Do this as often as necessary; and carry this Center with you like an inner compass. And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
Day 6: The Flow of Stillness
Stillness doesn’t mean stopping life. It means flowing with life from a place of presence and grace.
Reflection: “It is in the Great Silence or stillness of the outer, that the Inner Power flows in its ever-increasing accomplishment. And whenever you think of your Mighty Source, the “I AM”, you will feel an increase of strength, vitality, and wisdom. And when your actions flow from stillness, even ordinary moments can feel sacred.
Practice: Take time throughout your day to still yourself – your physical activity and mental activities (racing thoughts and such). Stillness is not separate from living but it flows through every movement you make. Practice releasing all the things that bind you in the moment, and in that stillness, repeat to yourself, “God In Me Is My Certain Victory!” Your “I AM Presence” is the Light of God that never fails you; so, it is a good idea also, while focusing on the Light within you during silent moments, to say, "'I AM' the Light of God That Never Fails"... to build a powerful momentum. And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
Day 7: The Embodiment
You’ve spent a week reconnecting with the stillness within. Today, we embody it fully — not as a practice, but as who you are.
Reflection: Our “I AM Presence” is not just something to call on occasionally, but our first consideration should always be to our Divine Self – but not in a selfish/egoish way. Our "I AM Presence" is the essence of who we are. We are the embodiment of the “I AM Presence” within us. So, every time we say “I AM”, we are setting the Pure Energy of the Living God in motion, through our human expression in the physical world.
Practice: The Flame of God is anchored in the heart of every one of us! Find your “I AM Presence” and anchor to It! Practice embodying those Higher Principles and Qualities at every turn given. Throughout the day, pause before speaking, acting, or deciding. Let your choices rise from the “I AM Presence” within you, utilizing the Christ Consciousness. In meditation, repeat (silently or in a low masterful tone) some of these “I AM” affirmations embodying the Christ Consciousness:
“'I AM' the Supreme Authority, God in Action.” - Go on, dare to be, and use this Authority of God which is expressing in the “I AM” of everything.
“'I AM' the Open Door which no man can shut.” - refers to the Great “I AM”, which is the Life of every individual manifest in form.
“'I AM' always the Victorious Presence of the 'Mighty I AM'”. - God in you is Master of all conditions at all times.
“'I AM' the Resurrection and the Life.” - Each one has within him or herself the “I AM Presence” - the same as Beloved Jesus – by which he or she could win the Eternal Victory.
And remember: "The Freedom of God is here in Action!”
*** It is okay to include your own varying ideas if you have them; but the point is to build a lasting connection with your "I AM Presence" and include It in your everyday life. 🤗💜💜💜
