Tips for connecting with your “I AM Presence”
Day 1 – Awareness of Presence
(week 1)
Reflection: The divine power of life already flows through us. It flows through everyone, or else we would not be here. Think of that Stream of Life as much as possible throughout the day, especially in your down time, when negative thoughts are more apt to creep in. And you don't have to speak about it to anyone. It's always between you and the “Presence of God” within you. Remember, “God is the Principle of all Life, and each child of God is an individualized, conscious, active part of that One Great Principle of Life and Love and Power.” (Saint Germain)
Practice: Take time to chill in silence, outside in nature if possible. Silently repeat in your mind: “I AM The Light of God That Never Fails”. With your eyes closed, imagine yourself as a Stream of Light, a Spirit, in the center of your body. Envision the Light of your Spirit and try to stay focused. Hold to the vision of your Spirit and continue to repeat silently, “I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!” You can do this as long or often as you feel; but it is okay start with 5 minutes. If negativity attempts to creep in, and it will... gently push it to the side and try to stay focused. It takes practice, but keep going. Do it before going to sleep, upon waking, and any time throughout the day. And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
Day 2 – The Light Within
Reflection: You are not separate from the Source; you carry Its light. Many of us have been conditioned to believe that the Source of Life, God, or some may say a Higher Power, was outside of our reach. But we have come to learn that is not the case. We are Spirit before we enter the body, and the Light of the Living God, which is Spirit, Energy, is our Life Stream. That Spirit Energy animates our bodies. And when our bodies are no longer living, that Life Stream retreats back to its Heavenly Home. It is our Life, and we are all connected to that One Spirit of the Living God. So when we are feeling naturally loving, uplifted and inspired, that is the Spirit Energy of the Living God within us, that may be prompting, encouraging, or strengthening us in the moment. But if our energy is in a negative way, then that would be, most likely, some underlying issue or stress which may need to be dealt with. However, we should always go back to our connection that we are developing with our “Presence” from day one, and remember that no matter those issues, God is always at our Call, a “Presence” and a Comfort. And making the Call is an Acknowledgment of our “Mighty I AM Presence”... the Presence of God within all of us.
Practice: Write down 3 moments when you felt guided, uplifted, or inspired. Did you relate that to God or a Higher Power, or something outside of yourself? Think about it. Do this step and consider it often whenever any negative thoughts attempt to interrupt your connection with your “Presence”, or at any time, to keep yourself uplifted and energetic. And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
Day 3 – Power of the Word “I AM”
Reflection: Every “I AM” phrase we speak affirms our reality. “I AM” refers to pure, unconditioned awareness. It is the sense of existence or being, before it is labeled with identities, roles, or attributes. Instead of saying “I am (this or that),” it is simply “I AM” – existence itself, prior to definition. “I AM THAT I AM” is the phrase God gives to Moses in Exodus, signifying the eternal, self-existent nature of the divine. the “I AM” is the witness-consciousness – the awareness that underlies all experience, often identified with Brahman (the ultimate reality). In mystical Christianity, it represents the Christ-consciousness within, the divine spark that recognizes itself as one with God. In New Thought and modern metaphysics, “I AM” is used as a powerful affirmation, suggesting that what follows “I AM”... shapes one’s reality.
Practice: Affirm aloud: “I AM” the Presence of Divine Love at all times” – for God is Love. You can repeat this upon waking, throughout the day, and at night before going to sleep, or any time whatsoever - make a lil' song out of it if need be! But the idea is to practice affirming the Truth of our Being at all times, and dissolve the negative conditioning and beliefs of the past, that has kept mankind limited. And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
Day 4 – Releasing Limitations
Reflection: Old patterns cannot define our eternal spirit. Old patterns only remain when we hold on to the old beliefs that sustain them. They only define who we are on the outside, if we let them. They cannot define what we are in spirit because those patterns or habits did not create us. We change everyday. We shed the old and make room for the new, even when we do not realize it. We must release those old ways of thinking and being which serves no constructive purpose. And in the Awareness of our Presence, we are then able to push past those repetitive unwanted patterns and move upwards into Higher Attainment. When we focus more on the “Living God That Will Never Fails Us”, we will soon begin to notice how those old negative beliefs begin to fade away, effortlessly. (Day 1)
Practice: Write one limiting belief on paper, then release it (tear, burn, or recycle with intention). “Have no sympathy for the outer that in its ignorance does the wrong thing, whether in yourself or someone else.” - Saint Germain. And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
Day 5 – Living Consciously
Reflection: Spiritual growth is awareness in action. When the impulse surges forth to argue, criticize, or feel a resistance, it is our signal that the outer is intruding itself and demanding attention. Then is the time to command the outer to be still. Whenever the impulse comes to argue, criticize, or feel unnecessary resistance, We should try to place ourselves in the position of the person on the receiving end, and remember, no one is perfect, we all have faults. And we condemn ourselves... when we condemn others.Say: “'I AM' the governing Love, Wisdom, and Power with its attendant Intelligent Activity which is acting today in every single thing that I think or do.”
Practice: Choose one mindful act today – practice extending love and compassion, in thought or action (cuz thought eventually leads to action); speak consciously and with gratitude; listen deeply; or wherever you feel in your world there is a need for mindfulness. But remember to pay close attention to yourselves and your inner feelings, because that is how our "I AM Presence" communicates with us and prompts us for correction, when necessary. And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
Day 6 – Gratitude as Power
Reflection: Gratitude multiplies the awareness of Divine Presence. Always give thanks for your “Presence of Life”, for without it, we would not be here. It is our Stream of Life and sustains us in our physical bodies. Gratitude to our “I AM Presence” is an Acknowledgment for the Love and Life we are graced with; and our loving thoughts radiates Love to the Creator, the Spirit Energy of all Life; and increases the Loving Energy in the atmosphere.
Practice: List 5 things you are grateful for – not material – and feel each one deeply. And Every day, remind yourself of one or more things that you are grateful for. And then, in your Heart and Mind, give Thanks and Praises To your "Presence" - a smile, a song, or whatever - cuz remember, we are developing a Divine Connection to the Spirit of God within us... and that is Power! And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
Day 7 – Becoming Radiant
Reflection: Our life is a vessel for divine love and transformation. As we connect to our “Mighty I AM Presence” and develop a more strengthened relationship with Our Life Stream, we will find that as our Inner world transforms, so will our outer world thoughts, actions, and circumstances. And in that transformation comes a more profound feeling and expression of love from the individual, as they begin to effortlessly radiate the Love and Light from within of their “Mighty I AM Presence” to others and all the world around them. It does not take a lot of effort to connect with our "Presence". It is not ritualistic or "religious"! But with will and determination, and the Acknowledgement and Love shown often to our "Presence" and to others, we will soon begin to notice the positive changes within ourselves. And as the Illumination of our Being begins to expand - that Loving Light will begin to positively affect the world around us.
Practice: Visualize the luminous light of your "Presence" expanding from your heart, and filling your whole body. Then, in your mind's eye, radiate that Loving Light outwards to reach others. Do this as much as possible, especially when negativity makes an attempt to seep into your thoughts. Don't force it tho, just let it flow! And believe: "I AM The Light of God That Never Fails!"
*** It is okay to include your own varying ideas if you have them; but the point is to build a lasting connection with your "I AM Presence" and include It in your everyday life. 🤗💜💜💜
You can practice these anywhere, at any time, and as often as possible;
you will soon find connecting with your "Presence"... becomes effortless!
