“My principal thought tonight to help you do this is that when you find outer things pulling too heavily upon you, you turn your attention not only back to the Glorious Beauty and Perfection and Glorious Light and Power of the Sacred Fire which your Beloved “Mighty I AM Presence” is, but you look into Our Octave and ask to be shown the Temples of the Sacred Fire – the Magnificence and the Beauty that is there, and that you have a right to call into manifestation down here to begin to make this world like Our Octave.
Now if you do this, many magnificent things will come into your outer experience. Much Blessing will come to you that you may bless others. And the Power that you will draw into yourselves by keeping your attention upon the Beauty and the Power that is in Our Octave, will just simply amaze you with the Blessings It will bring into your outer use.
So every time a habit disturbs you, use your own Divine Authority; and you can say: “Through the Sacred Fire Authority of ‘I AM’, that ‘I AM’, which I AM’, I command that to stand aside and be annihilated from the Universe while I enter into my permanent association with the Perfection of the Ascended Masters’ Octave of Life. And I demand that Perfection come into me and fill my world, that Its Light may forever lead all Light – all Life into the Greater Light and out of the distress of this world forever!”
Now, I have many reasons for putting this to you this way tonight. This is a powerful Raising Activity; and when your Love goes to the Great Central Sun Magnet – which is the Raising Activity within Life, the Raising Activity of the Sacred Fire – it not only will raise your attention to this greater Power of Perfection, but it will raise the vibratory action of everything in yourself and your world. And the moment you raise its vibratory action; it produces more Perfection for you. This is a mechanical thing, pure and simple; but you must be master of your attention, and you have to command that attention just as certainly as an officer has to command an army. You have got to command your attention!
Now the average person doesn’t do that, even the Student Body. You find your attention on something, then you try to make the mind go to something else. But if you’ll issue the Command at night before you go to sleep and in the morning when you wake up: “My Beloved ‘Mighty I AM Presence’, with your Power of the Sacred Fire, I demand my attention this next day be held on the Perfection of Your World; and I demand Your Perfection blaze in, through, and around me and fill my world – and with Your Love and Power of the Sacred Fire, I DO this thing!” Don’t say, “I will do.” Say, “I do!” The minute you say, “I will do”, you put it off into the future.
You’ll have some amazing experiences. If you don’t have all the explanation you want in the mind, demand the Illumination that tells you the Truth of what you need to know next. Don’t let the mind go woolgathering, and the attention go here, and wonder who’s there, and what your last embodiments were, or something else that gets you into trouble. You don’t do that! The minute you find your attention wondering on things that the sinister force wants to keep your attention upon until it can take your attention away from your “Presence”, you will have to command your attention to give obedience to your Higher Mental Body and forbid it to do anything else. You’ve got to command it, My Dear Ones.
You can be the biggest dictator in the world to yourself on this. Now people that like to boss somebody else around and just manage everybody – this is one of the most wonderful outlets for that desire; and it will give other people a rest too. So Blessed Ones (applause). Thank you, Precious Ones. Now this is a very healing activity. That’s the reason I explain it to you tonight, because distress in the atomic structure of the body is the result of destructive habit in the past; and the destructive habit was created by allowing the attention to go to something that was not constructive.
So habits – whether they be in the mind or the feeling world, matters not. If through destructive habit there have been creations of discord imposed upon the etheric body or the emotional body, the mental body, by destructive pictures in the mind, someday, sometime, somewhere, you have got to demand their annihilation by Conscious Command!”
