“Do you remember, a long, long time ago at the Shrine Auditorium – I think I told you several times to keep calling to your “Beloved I AM Presence” for Its hidden Wealth, from the secret places that It knows would never bring you discord, from the secret channels of Its own Supply, the hidden Riches from the secret channels of Its own Supply. Thus you swing the door open, Precious Ones, and allow many avenues of Supply to be opened to you from avenues that you do not even know exist tonight. In doing this, after a few times you will feel nearer and nearer to your “Presence”.
Now your Higher Mental Body abides, ordinarily, when you are harmonious, from twelve to fifteen feet above the physical body. But when you ask It to come closer, and you hold the Harmony and pour It your Love, It will come closer. When you ask It to come into the condition, then as It comes into the condition, from the Inner Level, could you see It, It would be like a Sun of Light coming into the energy of the problem; and then there would come to the outer intellect – in this Greater Light which would enfold you as well as the problem, will come the ideas of handling the problem in the most wonderful way, and by which in the Solution of the problem you would glorify that “Presence” with greater Love and greater Obedience. There would be greater Harmony out here; for every time you hold the Harmony and send the Love to your “Presence”, you glorify It, and you glorify the Universe around you.
Therefore, in the solving of your problems, in the release of your supply, Precious Hearts, nothing will ever take the place of your Love to your “Presence” and your “Presence’” Love to you. It is that swing of the energy to your “Presence” – and then you ask the “Presence” to come into you and into the problem – it is the Great Activity of Life that ever draws the Perfection from within the “Presence” into outer manifestation, commands It to expand Its Happiness to all, and in the Expansion, it pours more Light to the “Presence”. And the next wave of Love draws back to you your Greater Freedom.
It is so wonderful, It is so true, It is so real! It is so All-Powerful, that I long for that hour when the Instantaneous Action of your Call brings you the Happiness and the Release that will astonish both you and your fellowmen; for I tell you, when the Law begins to act instantly for you in the Solution of your problems, the outer self takes quite a while before it gets over the astonishment. And that is because it has accepted the element of time and space so long through the centuries, and it has felt that as part of the race consciousness, that when things act instantly, it is always more or less of a shock and a surprise to the outer self that it really worked so fast.
But you know you have entered the age of speed, haven’t you? You’ve all desired speed, you know, in one way or another, especially with your automobiles. You have just loved that speed, haven’t you. Well, why not love your “Blessed I AM Presence” until the speed of Its Action in Instantaneous Release enters into your problems and you go on your way and you arrive more quickly. Isn’t that reasonable? Isn’t that what you are supposed to do? Aren’t you supposed to pick up speed and get going, you know, in all things in the physical world? You don’t have any trouble egging people on to drive faster, do you, sometimes, if the way is clear? Then why should We have any trouble drawing you on to greater speed in the Fulfillment of your Call?
I am doing this tonight to show you that you can have the money and the supply more quickly! (applause). Now this will bring you very great Joy as you practice it. And it is not difficult to practice it, Precious Ones. If you want your supply in a hurry, is it difficult to want it? Don’t you want it in a hurry? Think this through now. If you need it in a hurry, don’t you want it in a hurry? You do; you know you do.
All right then, the formula, may I say, of getting it in a hurry is to turn to the “Presence” first, and ask Its Speed of Action, the Feeling of Its Instantaneous Action, to come into yourselves; and then ask the “Presence” to come with you into the problem. It’s just as mechanical, it’s just as absolute, it’s just as real as you are. I am determined, with your cooperation, to bring you into more Instantaneous Release of the supply you require to do these things in the outer that need to be done, because they are right and ought to be done!
Therefore, anything that ought to be done, that is right to do, should have Instantaneous Action in the doing. But if you will just form the habit the moment the outer self wants something, in just saying, “O ‘Mighty I AM Presence’, give me this”, and “’Mighty I AM Presence’, give me that” – instead of that, if you just form the habit of sending Love to the “Presence” first, and then asking your “Presence” to make you feel Itself in the outer self, to make you feel Its Feeling of Its Presence with you, Its Feeling of Instantaneous Answer to your Call. Then you take the Hand of your “Presence”; and then as you go into the solution of your problem, there comes the right prompting, and your “Presence” will draw the right people or the right conditions together to help you solve the problem more quickly.
Now when you need money quickly, you have often said, “’Mighty I AM Presence’, give me this money for which I call. Give me this money quickly.” Well now, preceding that, if you’ll just turn: “’Mighty I AM Presence’, I love You. Charge Your Feeling of Your Nearness and Your Presence into me, and then come with me and draw to me this which I require. And then You see that I fulfill Your Divine Plan here, that I may glorify You with more Love.” Then everything you do in the outer, you do to the Glory of that “Presence”. Precious Ones, how could your “Presence” fail to glorify you, if you glorify It? What you send out comes back; and if you glorify your “Presence”, It will glorify you, with more of everything, your Heart can desire.”
