For…”Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. Many seek an audience with a ruler, but it is from the Lord that one gets justice. (Proverbs 29:25-26); Indeed…They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows. They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear. They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, “Who will see it?” They plot injustice and say, “We have devised a perfect plan!” Surely the human mind and heart are cunning. (Psalm 64:3-6); But…The word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; And…the earth is full of his unfailing love. (Psalm 33:4-5); So…“Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his own people work for nothing, not paying them for their labor. He says, ‘I will build myself a great palace with spacious upper rooms.’ So he makes large windows in it, panels it with cedar and decorates it in red. Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar? (Jeremiah 22:13-15); Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge people with equity? (Psalm 58:1); Hmmm…Your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. (Jeremiah 22:17); And…In your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth. (Psalm 58:1-2);

 
But, You God…Are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome. And…The arrogant cannot stand in your presence. (Psalm 5:4-5); Therefore…let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For…Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; And…you surround them with your favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12)” Amen…
